Position Summary:The Underwriting Data Analyst position is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role for someone ready for a professional career working with data, especially concerned with data cleanliness, standardization, and unification. Analysts support claims processing and templated code requests for both new and current business.

There is so much to learn—both in terms of data analysis and coding, and in terms of the broader health care industry. Position Responsibilities:Collect, clean, process, and analyze potential and current clients’ pharmaceutical data – using SQL, R, Python, and MS Excel as appropriate – to support the Underwriting and Sales teams in the acquisition of new business and retention of current clientsThoroughly understand internal and external data fields, identify patterns of data irregularities, and improve data quality and intakeReach out to and question relevant parties regarding any data ambiguity and request any additional data elements that may be required or beneficial for analysisAssist in the writing and maintenance of the Underwriting infrastructure code in SQL, R, and PythonParticipate in process enhancement for data analytics and reportingProvide ad-hoc analytics support the Underwriting team in the successful completion of all bid opportunitiesProvide analytics support to the Pricing, Clinical Account Management, and Implementation teams to facilitate client transitions as neededResponsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct, including reporting of noncompliance. Qualifications

Proficient in SQL; Knowledgeable in Python and R1+ years of proven experience in data analysis (academic or professional)Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsExtremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easilyAbility to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously and manage a frequently shifting work queuePreferred

Qualifications

Knowledge of pharmaceutical claimsKnowledge of and passion for improving the healthcare industryTrack record of leading cross-functional initiatives, driving high performance, meeting deadlines, and executing on deliverables

Salary Range

$80,000—$90,000 USDAll employees are responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including the reporting of non-compliance.
