We are looking for a SeniorBusiness Intelligence Engineer to join our small but skilled BI team at the very intersection of code (Engineer), understanding the business (BI), and structuring data (Modeling).

You will be a key influencer in deciding the future of our data infrastructure and how it supports our strategic business areas.

In this job, you will:Dedicate ~60% of your time to the programming side: building our data platform, developing ETL processes, managing DAGs, and ensuring our data formation is robust and reliable. Spend ~30% of your time as a Data Analyst, breaking down business questions from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Managers into actionable data models straight into DAGs. Work closely with all our relevant internal stakeholders to ensure they have the data they need to drive Up

Cloud

’s growth. Organize and take ownership of our in-house systems to make data more accessible and useful for every user in the company. To succeed, you’ll need:Relevant software engineering experience, with strong skills in Python and SQLAdvanced experience with GCP (BigQuery), ideally with other cloud data environments or on-prem platforms. Strong experience with data analysis architecture and managing DAGs using tools like Airflow and dbt. A "Builder" Mindset: you’re a pragmatic and experienced professional who knows how to build a data platform, confident in creating efficient structures from scratch while setting the practices to maintain them. Excellentcommunication skills: you’re comfortable switching between active collaboration with lead engineers in the company and translating "tech-speak" for non-technical stakeholders.

You proactively seek out information from your teammates. Pragmatism: A delivery-focused approach where you "get your hands dirty" in a smaller, fast-paced team, instead of waiting for things to arrive at you.

We also appreciate:Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI. A background as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst who has transitioned/is transitioning into business-centric roles. Previous experience in small data teams where you had to wear multiple hats and own the platform, from architecture to operation.

The pay range for this role is around 5000-5700 euros per month, depending on your seniority and
