as our
Senior AI Engineer IAs a Senior AI Engineer II, you will be partnering with product managers, software engineers, and data labelers to derive value from our ever increasing data set of home and consumer data sources, particularly by extracting property attributes from text and image data.
Your team has autonomy to evolve the projects and platform with modern ideas and practices and will continue to streamline model building and deployment allowing rapid turnaround from concept to deployment.
The current Machine Learning stack is based on Python, using Feast, Flyte, and BentoML among other tools to allow the team to focus more energy on solving business problems.
What You’ll Do As A Senior Software EngineerIOwn the full machine learning lifecycle from research to production, leveraging Computer Vision and NLP techniques (e. g. BERT, ViT) to extract insights from unstructured dataEvaluate and integrate modern AI and foundation model capabilities (e. g. , vision-language models, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented approaches) into production systems where appropriate. Partner with product, operations, and engineering to translate business problems into high-impact machine learning or AI opportunitiesAdvocate for sustainable tradeoffs, architecting solutions that balance product needs and long term goalsDesign experiments to quantify the business impact of machine learning modelsCollaborate with other MLEs on tooling improvements for model training and deploymentUtilize our MLOps stack to drive feature engineering, model training, and data analysisWrite robust, production-grade Python code to productionalize feature engineering, model training, and deploymentParticipate in the on-call rotation to assist engineers in troubleshootingWhat You Will BringAsA Senior Software EngineerIBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or four years of equivalent work experience)Experience: 5+ years of experience in machine learning and applied statistics, with a strong command of fundamental conceptsA curious and driven individual who likes to work in a trustful, respectful, and collaborative environmentProven track record of leading high-impact ML initiatives from concept to production, demonstrating the architectural foresight to deliver immediate business value while championing the technical sustainability of the end-to-end ML lifecycleExperience deploying, monitoring, and A/B testing models in productionAbility to communicate effectively in both business and highly technical contextsDemonstrated ability to write clean, modular, and testable code, applying software engineering best practicesExperience working with relational databases and cloud solutions (e. g. Postgres, Google BigQuery, Google Datastore, and Google Cloud Storage)Experience in python data stacks, e. g. Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn and MatplotlibProven experience working with US based business teams. Excellent written and communication skills in English language. Must currently reside in or are located within 150 km of Greater Delhi NCR, Greater Bangalore, or Greater PuneAbility to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (PST) overlapWorkspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload The application window for this position is anticipated to close in 2 weeks (10 business days) from December 30,
