at EgenRole Overview:We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design, build, and scale modern data and streaming platforms that power real-time and analytical use cases.
This role requires strong hands-on architecture experience across streaming technologies, cloud-native platforms, Master Data Management (MDM), and data governance. Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable streaming data platforms to support real-time ingestion, processing, and analyticsArchitect and guide the development of end-to-end data platforms across batch and streaming workloadsLead and contribute to Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, including :Golden record designData matching, survivorship, and hierarchy managementIntegration patterns with downstream consumersDefine and implement data governance frameworks, including :Data ownership and stewardship modelsData quality rules and monitoringMetadata, lineage, and access controlsCollaborate with application teams to expose data via APIs and event-driven architecturesProvide architectural guidance for cloud-native deployments, including containerization and orchestrationEstablish data architecture standards, patterns, and best practicesPartner with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and platform reliabilityReview designs, mentor engineers, and help drive technical decisions across projectsRequired Experience, Skills
Qualifications
:Experience : 8–12+ years in data engineering and architecture rolesStrong experience designing streaming data platforms (Kafka, MSK, Kinesis, or similar)Proven hands-on experience building or leading MDM implementationsSolid understanding of data governance principles and real-world implementationExperience designing event-driven and API-first data architecturesDeep knowledge of data modeling (canonical models, domain-driven design concepts)Ability to translate business

into scalable technical solutionsGood Communication SkillsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsAWS experience (MSK, Kinesis, S3, Glue, Lambda, ECS, etc. )Experience with Java / Spring Boot for data and API servicesContainerization and orchestration using Docker and ECSExposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, IaC, Terraform, Git-based workflows)Experience with cloud security and IAM best practicesWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleStreaming platforms are scalable, reliable, and easy for teams to adoptMDM solutions serve as a trusted source of truth across the enterpriseGovernance is practical and embedded into platforms—not just documentationEngineering teams are aligned on standards and patternsCompensation
