This franchise is one of the hottest new properties in gaming, and our team is naturally expanding
as our
ambition expands. To give a taste of our brand's popularity, more than 100 billion YouTube views of Poppy Playtime related content have occured since the game's launch 4 years ago. ***Must have the ability to work in the US without sponsorship***About the RoleWe are looking for a JuniorData Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our video game portfolio.
This role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data related to player behavior, game performance, and business outcomes.
The Data Analyst will work closely with design, product, marketing, and leadership teams to deliver accurate insights, recurring reports, and actionable recommendations.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working deeply with data, building dashboards, and turning complex datasets into clear, trustworthy insights for stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze game, player, and business data to support development, live operations, and publishing decisionsCreate and maintain dashboards and automated reportsWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract and validate data from multiple sourcesPerform ad hoc analyses to answer business and game performance questionsSupport A/B tests and post-launch analysis by gathering data and summarizing resultsPartner with teams to define metrics, ensure accurate tracking, and improve data qualityIdentify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in player and financial dataPresent insights clearly through reports, dashboards, and written summariesRequired
Qualifications
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databasesExperience with data visualization and BI tools (e. g. , Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholdersPreferred
Qualifications
0-2 Years of Experience in an analytics role or within the video game industry or digital entertainmentFamiliarity with game telemetry, event-based data, and live service metricsExperience with Python, R, or spreadsheet-based modelingPassion for video games and player experienceMob Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer.
