Our Health IT software team has been developing and selling data warehousing solutions for over twelve years. Profile OverviewWe are a healthcare data products and analytics company transforming how the industry understands and consumes healthcare data.

We are looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team.

This position focuses on healthcare data profiling and analysis tasks that require quantitative reasoning skill and knowledge of tools and technologies used in data analysis.

This position is fully remote, while occasional travel may be required.

This person’s primary duty will be to work with the research operations and analytics teams in development and maintenance of healthcare data products and analytical tools.

ResponsibilitiesExecute appropriate analytics methods as directed based on research questions, project goals, and available resourcesAssist in developing detailed documentation of data sets and other technical topicsDemonstrate consistent follow-through and exceptional attention to detail on all project tasksWork both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, from planning to delivery stagesUse a variety of data analysis technologies as appropriate to the given task or projectWork with our teams around the US and in IndiaExample ProjectsConvert a manual, multi-step analytics pipeline into a more automated paradigm. Utilize healthcare claims to identify the volume and average cost of specific procedures performed by a specific set of providers or facilities. Draft in-depth profiles and field-level documentation of complex data sets. Use multiple data sources to create a crosswalk of physician group TIN to physician NPI. Translate custom, project-specific code and workflows into a standard repeatable process. Skills And

Requirements

Candidates must be team players with excellent interpersonal skills.

They must also have some experience and familiarity with data analysis using large data sets. Particular experience with healthcare datasets (especially claims and/ or clinical data) is a significant plus. Below is a list of the skills and background

Education/experienceBachelor's degree or commensurate experienceMasters degree or higher in related field strongly preferredStrong preference for education and experience with quantitative analysis, statistics, and/or data science. Education or experience in a research-driven field (economics, social science, mathematics, public policy, healthcare administration) is preferred. Familiarity with or exposure to the US healthcare system is a plus. SkillsAbility to execute complex research and analysis projects and tasksAbility to translate conceptual instructions into discrete analytical tasksSome exposure to at least one data analysis platform or coding language (e. g.
