OverviewWe have an exciting Business Development (BD) Analyst opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team at Pediatrix Medical Group.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen and financial modeling skills.

ResponsibilitiesIndividual will report to the Manager of Organic Growth Initiatives (OGI) and will serve the daily functions of the organic growth team and be responsible for financial and operational analysis of new business opportunities.

The individual will also be responsible for other financial assignments as directed by Senior Mgmt. Prepare and analyze pro-forma and historical financial statements and valuation model building, including presentations to senior managementCreation and maintenance of key spreadsheets used in preparation of projected financial statements.

This includes the ability to manipulate large data sets to support the model outputsParticipation in overall analysis of proposed projects from financial and operational perspectivesSupport Business Development team with market assessments and analyze profitability of all organic growthAssist in the budget/forecast of organic growth sitesBuild key supporting reports for the regions and corporate departments Assist in the production and development of senior management reporting package for organic growthLiaison with many areas of the Company to provide timely support and proactive feedback on all issuesAssist the finance team with budget, and other ad hoc projects



Qualifications



Education/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA is highly desirable2 - 4 years experience of financial analysis, modelling, and budgeting. Accounting related experience is a plusHealthcare experience is preferredExperience interacting with Senior Mgmt. ; CFO, SVP, VP, Snr Director et alSoftware: Strong working knowledge of Excel Strong Understanding of Business Intelligence toolsExperience with a budgeting system is needed – Cognos software experience is preferredExperience with Salesforce preferred
