Your Role
As our
Finance Data Analyst, you’ll sit at the intersection of Finance and Business Intelligence, where structure meets strategy.
This role exists to ensure that our financial data is consistent, transparent, and genuinely useful across reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
You’ll be the person who brings financial truth into focus: building robust Power BI reports, modeling data with SQL, supporting forecasting and budgeting cycles, and answering the “what does this really mean. ” questions from our Finance Manager and leadership team.

What You’ll Be DoingBuild, maintain, and continuously improve Power BI reports covering P L, revenue, costs, and liquidityModel, validate, and analyze financial data using SQL and Excel, ensuring accuracy and scalabilitySupport forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and scenario modeling to guide financial planningRun ad-hoc financial analyses on topics such as transactions, pay rates, accruals, VAT, and cash flowAct as the central point of contact for finance-related data questions, from the accounting team to executive leadershipEnsure financial KPIs are clearly defined, consistently used, and well-documented across the BI landscapePartner closely with the Finance Manager to support ad-hoc analyses and evolving reporting needsWhat You’ll Need5+ years of experience in a finance-focused BI or data analytics roleStrong, hands-on skills in SQL, Excel, and Power BI (including data modeling—not just dashboard consumption)A solid understanding of P L and balance sheet structures, cost accounting, and liquidity planningThe ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insightsA highly structured, independent working style with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detailNice If You HaveExperience in a digital B2C or SaaS business environmentFamiliarity with accounting systems such as DATEVExperience collaborating with data engineers or helping build scalable reporting infrastructuresWhat You Can Expect On BoardDirect impact on financial steering and leadership decision-makingA modern BI stack with strong support from our data engineering teamA fully remote, flexible work setup that trusts you to manage your timeHigh autonomy within a collaborative, fast-paced environmentA friendly, international team with an open feedback cultureRegular virtual team events and our annual JobLeads summer workcationIf you’re passionate about finance, data, and building structured, scalable reporting processes that truly support smart business decisions, we’d love to meet you.
