what it's all aboutYour Role We’re hiring a Freelance Finance Data Analyst to sit at the intersection of Finance and BI – owning the consistency, transparency, and usability of our financial data across reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.

This person will build and maintain Power BI reports and SQL models, support forecasting and budget processes, and handle ad-hoc financial data questions from our Finance Manager and leadership team.

What You'll Be DoingBuild and maintain Power BI reports for P L, revenue, cost, and liquidity trackingModel and analyze financial data using SQL and ExcelSupport forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and scenario modelingRunad-hoc financial analyses(e. g. transactions, pay rates, accruals, VAT, cash flow) for the Finance ManagerServe as thego-to person for all finance-related data questions, including from the accounting team and executive leadershipEnsure theconsistency, clarity, and documentation of financial KPIsacross the BI systemSupport withadhocrequestsfrom the Finance ManagerWhat You'll Need At least 5 years of experience in a Finance-focused BI roleStrong skills in SQL, Excel, and Power BI (hands-on modeling, not just consumption)Solid understanding of P L and BS structureAbility to translate financial data into actionable, structured insightsA highly structured, independent working style with strong numerical attention to detailNice to Have Experience in a digital B2C or SaaS business modelFamiliarity with accounting systems (e. g.
