Our work culture fosters collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist / ML Engineer to support the development and deployment of advanced machine learning solutions in a cloud-based data environment.
This role will focus on building scalable AI/ML models, developing reproducible data pipelines, and ensuring responsible AI practices.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in model development, feature engineering, and cloud-based analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to support mission analytics and decision support. Develop and maintain reproducible ML pipelines for training, testing, and deployment. Perform feature engineering, algorithm optimization, and model evaluation. Work with structured and unstructured datasets to support predictive analytics. Implement scalable data processing and ML workflows within cloud-based environments. Ensure models and datasets comply with FAIR principles and responsible AI practices. Support data governance, bias detection, and model transparency initiatives. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data-driven capabilities.
Qualifications
:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML models. Strong experience with supervised learning, feature engineering, and algorithm optimization. Proficiency in Python and SQL. Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. Experience working with Lakehouse architectures and modern data platforms. Ability to design reproducible ML pipelines and workflows. Strong understanding of data governance, bias detection, and responsible AI practices. Preferred
Qualifications
:Experience working in Azure cloud environments. Experience supporting federal or regulated data environments. Experience with large-scale data processing platforms and distributed ML workflows.
