About the roleWe are seeking a Clinical Data Engineer who is passionate about making an impact in healthcare, and who is excited to contribute to the development and management of our clinical data integrations to create the hospital of tomorrow.
You will join our Clinical Data Team, with a particular focus on developing and maintaining Python-based integrations and automation for clinical data workflows.
What you'll doManage and monitor clinical data systems and integrations across our network of hospitalsDesign, develop, and maintain Python scripts and applications to support clinical data integration and automationBuild and support HL7 interfaces and workflows, leveraging Mirth Connect and related technologiesTroubleshoot complex issues related to EHR transport and storage Work cross-team to ensure alignment and clear communication with stakeholders
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in clinical data systems, EHR integration, or related fields (or equivalent experience)Strong Python programming skills, with experience building data integration or automation solutionsHands-on experience with Mirth Connect and HL7 integrationProfessional experience in IT, clinical data engineering, or related fields, or a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similarPractical knowledge and understanding container technologies (Docker) and virtual computing environmentsPractical knowledge of and experience with automation and testing in a clinical settingExperience collaborating within a team to support complex technical systemsEnsure patient data security while managing appropriate access for stakeholdersExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teamsNice to havesThese are helpful but not required—if you’re excited about the role, we encourage you to apply.
