CareDx is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with experience in healthcare or biotech to support our data-driven platforms and patient-centered applications.

You’ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating complex

requirements

into scalable, compliant solutions that improve lab operations, data accessibility, and patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Lab Operations, and Compliance teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical

requirements

Translate business processes into system workflows, data flows, and technical specifications particularly for lab systems, data pipelines, and integrations. Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation for new features and system enhancements. Support data integration projects involving LIMS, EHRs, and external labs ensuring consistency and compliance with industry standards.

Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, and documentation required for CLIA, HIPAA, and FDA-regulated systems. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Work with data engineers and analysts to support reporting, dashboards, and data validation using SQL and business intelligence tools. Required

Qualifications

: Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems / Information Technology or similar degree. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1–2 years in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences. Strong understanding of healthcare data and standards (LIS, LIMS, HL7, EHR systems). Ability to write detailed functional specifications and data

Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with structured data for validation and analysis. Knowledge of HIPAA, CLIA, and FDA guidelines for software systems. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional technical environments. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Preferred

Qualifications

: Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Tableau, or Lucidchart. Experience supporting lab operations or clinical applications in a regulated environment. Background in systems integration, data pipelines, or API design documentation. salary range

in the United States.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this

salary range

may not reflect positions that work in other states. Remote: US only roles$62,000—$77,500 USD.
